Why don't 9Hits statistics match third-party analytics tools?#
Under our terms (which you must accept to sign up and use the service), 9Hits does not guarantee that its statistics will match those of any third party (analytics tools, ad network counters). We do not know how they count and record a view. It also depends on your campaign settings: for example, a duration that is too short, or accepting views with slow connections, can mean the third-party script does not even get a chance to record the view.
How many sessions can one machine run?#
There is no fixed number. It depends on the machine's resources (CPU, RAM, bandwidth) and how many IPs you have, since each IP can run only one session. Still, do not overdo it in the belief that the more you run, the more points you earn: when the computer is overloaded, your performance and traffic quality drop, and your sessions can even be rejected by the system.
Why do I earn fewer points with a proxy?#
Sessions that run through a proxy get a fixed deduction from the earn rate, whether the proxy is fast or slow. See the adjustment table in Earn rate for Viewer users. This encourages senders to improve their traffic quality, rather than banning proxies.
Can I run Viewer and have campaigns on the same account?#
Yes, this is the most common setup: run Viewer to earn points, then spend them on your own campaigns. But you never receive traffic from yourself, so your Viewer does not make your campaigns run faster.
Does upgrading my plan affect running campaigns?#
No. Upgrading only raises limits (view duration, popups, slots...); running campaigns stay as they are. Upgrade at Upgrade Account.
What is the difference between the access key and the API key?#
App token (the access key) lets Viewer sign in to your account; API key lets your scripts call
the public API. They are two independent strings, each with its own regenerate button, both on the
Profile page.
Can I use macros to solve captchas?#
Yes. The CAPTCHA and AI functions solve reCAPTCHA and image captchas through services such as 2Captcha, Anti-Captcha and Azcaptcha, using your API key for that service. See CAPTCHA and AI functions.
Does Studio earn points?#
No. Studio is only for writing and testing scripts; it does not take part in the traffic exchange. See 9Hits Studio.
Why is my running campaign getting no traffic?#
Check your points balance first: campaigns are served only when the balance covers all your running campaigns. Then review the filters in this order: GEO, hourly limit, ASN filter, IP filter. These filters are in Campaign settings.
